Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to spend his post-Christmas vacation in Jamaica for the second year in a row. Reports from Canadian media reveal that Trudeau's family will join him on this holiday, scheduled from December 26, 2023, to January 4, 2024. Despite their separation after 18 years together, Trudeau's wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, will also be part of the trip. The Prime Minister's Office in Canada has stated that Trudeau will stay in touch with his office and remain informed on current matters during his vacation. The choice of Jamaica for Trudeau's trip highlights the country's popularity as a prime winter destination for the 2023-2024 season. Last month, Jamaica's Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett announced that this season is expected to be the most successful in the nation's history. Bartlett noted a significant 13% increase in airline seats from the U.S. to Jamaica, with over 1.05 million seats and nearly 6,000 flights for this winter, compared to the previous season.
